Let us introduce ourselves
There are numerous choices when it comes to Quick Service Dining, and it seems like there is a new one that opens up every couple of months. So what makes the difference? All of them have their recipes and their specific decor, but how many of them treat you like family? Most of these restaurants are owned by investment groups, but The Simple Greek is owned by families, and that is how we treat our guests – like they are visiting our home.
We are Ron and Sean, and even though we look alike and sound alike, surprisingly, we aren’t brothers. Even though we aren’t related, we have become family over the past several years, and that bond became even stronger when we decided to take a chance and open one of the first Simple Greek locations in the United States, and the very first in Ohio. We are incredibly passionate about our business because we love great food and are addicted to providing outstanding service. Don’t be surprised when you stop in for lunch that you actually have one of the owners stop by your table to make sure that your Traditional Gyro Pita is warm and delicious or to check to see if your homemade rice pudding tastes just right. Locally owned and operated is just the way we like it. We want to spend a great deal of time around our employees and our food to make sure that our service and food quality are perfect.
We started with just one location in Boardman, OH, and in just two short years, Sean and I have grown to three stores – two in Ohio and one in Pennsylvania. We were named Franchisee of the Year in 2018, but we are never satisfied. We are always working to get better. If you look at our franchise website, it will tell you that, “The Simple Greek is redefining the traditional Greek restaurant with an interactive concept that combines high-quality ingredients, open kitchens and Greek atmosphere in a fast-casual setting,” but what we like to think we are doing is redefining the Quick Service Meal where you are treated like family rather than just a customer – just the way Yia Yia likes it.

Not only are we redefining the traditional Greek restaurant with an interactive concept that combines high-quality ingredients, open kitchens and Greek atmosphere in a fast-casual setting. We want our guests to experience The Simple Greek as if they were traveling to Greece the very first time. Our interactive ordering process allows the customer to ask questions about the food while being able to see the products being made right in front of them. Eat simple, eat fresh, eat Greek.
